EMJ shortlisted for Marketing Week Awards 2026

The European Medical Journal (EMJ) has been shortlisted for the Marketing Week Awards 2026. 

EMJ has been named a finalist in the Excellence in Health and Life Sciences category for its work with PARI Pharma GmbH, recognising an innovative campaign that transformed complex clinical information into practical, interactive learning experiences for healthcare professionals. 

The Excellence in Health and Life Sciences category celebrates organisations that have delivered effective marketing strategies across the healthcare, life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors. Judges assess entries on strategic execution, creative thinking, innovation in addressing industry challenges and measurable business outcomes. 

Partnership with PARI

Working alongside PARI Pharma GmbH, a leader in inhalation therapy devices for respiratory conditions, EMJ created a suite of interactive educational resources to help healthcare professionals better navigate chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) diagnosis and treatment.  

At the heart of the campaign was an interactive digital tool designed to help respiratory physicians make the right diagnostic decisions for patients.

The HCPs we design for are under relentless pressure, so every single interaction has to count. This project was about stripping away the friction and translating complex clinical information into something intuitive, clear, and genuinely useful. 

To have that effort recognised on this stage tells us we’re on the right path, and that keeping things simple and human really does make a difference.” 

The campaign delivered strong commercial and educational results, with EMJ’s interactive content exceeding engagement objectives and 75% of surveyed healthcare professionals reporting that they actively use the COPD decision tool in clinical practice.

The Marketing Week Awards are among the UK’s most respected marketing accolades, recognising campaigns that combine strategic excellence with creative innovation to deliver measurable business impact.  

Being shortlisted places EMJ alongside leading brands and agencies from across a wide range of industries. 

The winners of the Marketing Week Awards 2026 will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 19 November at The Londoner Hotel, London. 

Earlier this year, EMJ was also shortlisted by the Drum Marketing Awards for the same project in its Healthcare & Pharma category.
